Designed around your home, not an off-the-shelf catalogue
Most companies selling driveway gates have a catalogue of ten shapes and pick whichever one fits closest. We start with a survey and a drawing. Your property, your opening width, your gradient, the way the gates will sit against railings or walls, the material that matches the house. The design comes from that, not from a template.
You get a CAD drawing to sign off before any steel is cut. Finish, frame profile, infill, cap detail, colour, fixings, the lot. Once you are happy with the drawing, that is what gets built.
Hardwood, steel, aluminium, or a combination
Mild steel is still the workhorse for driveway gates. Heavy-gauge frames, hot-dip galvanised, powder coated in any RAL colour. It is what most modern homes want: clean lines, flat bar or box section, minimal ornament.
For warmth and a traditional look, hardwood is hard to beat: iroko, sapele and utile, either as a solid gate or clad onto a steel frame. Aluminium suits contemporary homes that want a crisp, low-maintenance finish that never needs painting. And timber or composite cladding gives you the grain of wood over a frame that does the structural work.

Automation that just works
A gate that sticks halfway open in the rain stops being a feature and starts being a headache. We install underground or above-ground motors from Roger Technology and SEA, specified for the actual weight and cycle count of your gate, not whatever is cheapest that week.
Every installation is risk assessed and tested within the guidance of BS EN 12453 before we leave. Safety edges where the design needs them, photocells on the sweep path, manual release in case of power loss, and an intercom or app control if you want to open the gate from inside the house or from your phone.

Installed once, properly
Driveway gates live in concrete. The posts have to go in right the first time, plumb, deep, braced, and tied into the existing wall or pillars correctly. If the groundwork is wrong, every problem with the gates for the next decade will come back to that week.
We dig out, set posts in concrete, run the power and low-voltage cabling in ducting, pour the slabs for motor housings, and hang the gates on stainless bearings. Commissioning includes a full risk assessment, a manual release demo, and a walk-through of the handover pack with you before we leave site.
